Hearst is a small Northern Ontario community located on Hwy 11 just under 60 miles west of Kapuskasing  / about 600 miles North of Toronto and 325 miles east of Thunder Bay.  Visitors to can drive Hwy 583 north of Hearst to Lac-Sainte-Therese or south to Jogues, Coppell and Mead.  Hearst is a very popular destination for hunters and fishermen due to the large wilderness area located to the north.  The area supports a large moose population and the lakes and rivers are known for their exceptional fishing for Walleyes, Northerns and trout.
