There is very limited accommodations available in Kasabonika and many visitors to the area book hotel rooms in Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout or Thunder Bay and fly in and out on the same day.  A potential diamond discovery in the Kasabonika area has sparked high interest and travel to the area by a major diamond exploration company.

There are also remote outpost camps in the general region which cater to fishermen looking for a week of spectacular wilderness fishing.  See above fishing links for complete details.
