shores of the
Albany River
and about 10
km upstream
from James Bay
and about 300
miles north of
Timmins.
The community
is about 12 km
from Fort

access to
Kashechewan is
by air with
limited access
by winter road
during 2 - 3
months of the
year.
Air Creebec
provides
regular
scheduled
flights to
Kashechewan
from Timmins,
Ontario, with
connections to
numerous other
communities in
Northern
Ontario and
Quebec.
From Timmins,
visitors can
connect with
Air Canada to
Toronto and
beyond. |
