roads to
Kingfisher
Lake, other
than a
temporary ice
road that is
accessible for
2 - 3 months
out of the
year.
This ice road
is used to
transport bulk
fuel, building
supplies and
other bulk
goods and
supplies vital
to the
residents of
the community.
The primary
access to
Kingfisher
Lake is via
air and Wasaya
Airways
provides year
round
scheduled
service from
Sioux Lookout
and Thunder
Bay.
From Thunder
Bay, travelers
can connect
with WestJet
Airlines or
Northwest. |
