The only
access to
North Spirit
Lake is by air
which is
provided by
Wasaya
Airways.
Wasaya
operates
scheduled
flights from
Red Lake,
Sioux Lookout
and Thunder
Bay.
There is no
year 'round
road access to
North Spirit
Lake, however
there is a
temporary ice
road that is
maintained for
2 - 3 months
of the year
which is used
for
transporting
bulk fuel,
building
supplies and
other bulky
freight. |

There are
several
fishing lodges
and remote
outpost camps
in the general
area of North
Spirit Lake,
however there
are no motels
in the
community
itself.
Visitors may
need to
contact the
Band Office to
determine if
accommodations
can be
arranged or
alternatively
fly in and out
the same day
with
accommodations
arranged in
Red Lake,
Sioux Lookout
or Pickle
Lake.
