Peawanuck Fishing & Outdoor Adventures

Peawanuck is a remote Cree community on Hudson's Bay near the confluence of the Winisk and Shamattawa Rivers and about 35 miles from the mouth of the Winisk River as it empties into Hudson Bay.  There is no road access to Peawanuck and visitors and residents of the area travel by air.  Winter ice roads however, connect the villages of Fort Severn to the East and Shamattawa Manitoba to the west which can be traveled for 2 - 3 months of the year.

Peawanuck is surrounded by the Polar Bear Provincial Park which attracts outdoor enthusiasts from across North America each year.  Although Peawanuck offers some unique fishing and waterfowl hunting opportunities, there are limited facilities and services in Peawanuck to cater to visiting sportsmen.

The following facilities offer plans and packages for exceptional Peawanuck Fishing and outdoor adventures.   If you are looking for a remote fly-in fishing adventure or a wilderness canoe trip you are sure to find the perfect Peawanuck fishing and outdoor adventure vacation listed in the facilities below.  Review the following list of resorts, lodges and outfitters and then contact the facility of your choice directly for all rates, package deals and available dates.
