roads to Sandy

winter road
that is
maintained 2 -
3 months of
the year and
used to
transport bulk
fuel, building
supplies and
other bulk
goods and
freight.
The primary
access to
Sandy Lake is
via air and
Wasaya Airways
provides
regular
scheduled
service to the
community from
Sioux Lookout,
Red Lake and
Thunder Bay.
Private
charter
flights can
also be
arranged from
Pickle Lake,
Sioux Lookout
and Red Lake. |
