About Sturgeon Falls

 
Location:
Sturgeon Falls is a picturesque little tourism community located in Northern Ontario on Highway 17 at the junction of highway 64, between North Bay and Sudbury where the Sturgeon River empties into Lake Nipissing.
 
Access / Airports / Transportation:
There are no commercial flights to Sturgeon Falls and the closest commercial airport is Sudbury which is served by Air Canada and Bearskin Airlines.  From Sudbury you can make connections with Toronto, Ottawa, Thunder Bay and numerous other communities throughout Northern Ontario.  The primary access to Sturgeon Falls is driving via highway 17.
 
Accommodations / Services / Attractions / Events:
There are several hotels and motels along the highway 17 near Sturgeon Falls and for more selection North Bay is only 30 minutes away where you will find a wide selection of hotels, motels including national chains, such as Best Western and more.  There is great fishing in the area for Walleyes, Northerns and species of Trout.  See our fishing links for complete listings of lodges and resorts.
