full time road
access to
Weagamow,
however a
temporary
winter road is
maintained for
2 - 3 months
of the year
which is used
primarily to
transport bulk
fuel and
freight.
The primary
access to
Weagamow -
Round Lake is
via air and
Wasaya Airways
provides
regular
scheduled
flights from
Sioux Lookout,
Pickle Lake
and Thunder

Weagamow and
visitors to
the area
should contact
the Band
office prior
to making
plans to
determine if
overnight
accommodations
can be
arranged.
Alternatively,
visitors

book 5 - 7
days of
wilderness
fishing there
are remote
outpost camps
in the general
region of
Weagamow.
