Weagamow Fishing & Outdoor Adventures

Weagamow which is also known as Round Lake, is a remote Oji-Cree First Nation's community located 200 air miles north of Sioux Lookout.  Visitors and residents of the area can travel via scheduled airlines operated by Wasaya Airways or arrange charter flights from Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout or Armstrong.  There are no facilities nor services in the community for visiting sportsmen, however the region surrounding Weagamow supports some exceptional fishing for Walleyes and Northerns.  Sportsmen can make arrangements with outfitters and fly-in services out of Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout or Armstrong if they wish to spend a 5 - 7 days hunting and fishing this remote region.
